Maybe such software already exists. If so I'd love to know about it. First,
employing a windows explorer extension so you can convert files without
opening the application first - just right click on the file you want to
convert. Second, the use of some kind of template for the various
conversion/ripping options and settings. I frequently use a number of
different setting combinations e.g. low quality low bitrate for talk radio
programs, moderate quality higher bit rate for music for my flash mp3 player
and then high quality high bit rate for use in a good sound system. It would
be really nice to set up several different named "option templates" that I
could select when ripping or converting instead of having to change the
individual settings every time I convert.
