Just got a Samsung 940b 19" flat panel LCD. I want to use the DVI link.
Its [L=DVI link is a 25 pin DVD-D dual link female connector.

9700 Pro is a [L=29 pin DVI-I Dual link connector.

Really the only difference is that on the Samsung flat panel DVI connector,
where the horizontal 'slot' on the connector on the right side, there are no
4 extra sockets like on my Radeon 9700 card.
Did I just blow $350 for nothing? I thought all DVI cables had the same
number of pins. Can I just buy a DVD-D dual link cable -25 pins- and
connect it to the Radeon even though it won't have all 29 pins connected on
the Radeon.
Should I just jump off the roof now! ;-)
