Hi
I thought I was really smart when I bought hardware to be attached to
pc using USB.

I have using CDE for getting the music to mp3

On my labtop I have an PCMCIA card with USB 2 connections.

When using a DVD reader most programs (file eplorer program, "this
computer" shows the dvd as a drive, so no problem), but CDEX can not
see this drive, it state "no music media is found on any cd drive" (it
can find a dvd drive : the labtops own dvd), but that is not what I
wanted.
Is there a setup or driver to make CDEX discover my dvd USB drive?
