Using CDex 1.51 with Lame 3.96.1

Just wondering...if I've got a CD which is in perfect (or nearly perfect)
condition, and has no jitter issues with the ripping method set to
"standard", is there any advantage to switching to "full paranoia" mode?
Will it result in a more accurate extraction, or is it only advantageous
when ripping a problematic CD?
