Hello all, didn't know which MP3 group this should go to so posted it to
both the ones I subscribe to! ;o)

I've just bought an Archos Gmini XS202s 20GB player and although I can just
drag and drop files to the device I thought I'd try synching my MP3 files
using WMP10. I've already said that I don't want files to be conversted
(most of my 13GB MP3 collection is encoded @ 192 kbs) but no matter what I
try it just reduces the bit rate to 128 kbs! This is very annoying for a
number of reasons 1) it takes longer AND 2) I chose 192 kbs because I finde
the sound quality is still fairly good but the resulting files don't take up
too much space.

To be honest I could probably save some time by using another program to
transfer the files or just copy the tracks to the music folder on the device
but now I've encountered this issue I'd like to be able to resolve it.
Please could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
