Thanks for the response. I'm trying VBR right now.
Dissapointingly, it looks like CDex is having trouble with the 5 hour
file from last night and I'm having to use Switch after all. We'll see
how it goes.
CDex had no problem with the half-hour long test file I ran through it.
Does anyone happen to know if I'm for sure running into a file
length/size limitation and, if so, just what the limitation might be?
I guess I'll try recording the show as a few different length files
tomorrow, rather than one big file, just to see if I can pin down what
I can get away with.
Any other (preferably free or cheap) freeware/shareware file conversion
programs that come highly recommended?
