I have placed a new order today (actually 3) and found to avoid the
problem you had was to use their hold till complete shipping option for
each order. The trick it seems is to make an order up to £18 and then
select hold till complete and this means only that order will ship and
cannot be combined with the others. If you use the default which was
ship what is available or something like that then all your individual
orders can be combined together.

I am already loving this company!!
