You know the books? It was very decent SF, with social aspects,
which are IMHO easily grasped even by teenagers. Not too much
action (the BBC series was rather, hm, slow) and also not too
much technology in the first book.
The latest Harry Potter Films where too fast. A TV-Series would
be better for HP and I fear the same for condensing 3 Books in 1 Film.
If that is really true (have not checked yet).
Shame the 2nd BBC series is not available though.
