The original books were "Juveniles" (I hate that phrase!) written by
John Christopher, author of Blade of Grass - movie version No Blade of
Grass directed by Cornell Wilde and never released on DVD, or video for
that matter I think(?). So teenage boys were always the main character's
of the story.
But yes we don't need "Spy Kids vs. the War of the Worlds".
