OK, Jeff (or anyone else), I'd like your opinion of HD. I have a 61"
Sony 4x3 with anamorphic squeeze and 1080i input. WHen i go to an HD
channel on DISH and set it to 1080i, I get a really good picture. BUT,
that picture doesn't seem to me to be that much better than a decent DVD
played with anamorphic squeeze. What's your opinion?

What I'm getting at is IF the new HD DVDs (whether HD-DVD or BluRay)
must be connected to the net to function, I believe that the increase in
quality of picture is not enough to make them a viable product in the
market. Sort of like laserdisk vs VHS.
