I just think there are too many bits of the story to fit coherently in one
film, the books actually extend over several years, Will is closer to 20,
certainly late teens I think by the end, and there are lots of bits of the
story that need the time gaps to make sense, else it just appears everyones
running round in circles all the time.

not that 3 films would work either, its just if its just one film its either
going to be very confusing, or they'll have to drop massive chunks of the
story.

worst thing is I doubt we'll be seeing that 2nd season dvd anytime soon for
sure, at least when they were umming and ahhing about film there was always
the chance theyd give up and the rights issue could be resolved.
