I don't need to know the difference, as the "girl" in the uniform made a
point of saying she was a PC!

I'll give you an example, I reported at 10:00pm last night about a serious
parking issue that could (and btw did) lead to a crash. I didn't expect them
to drop everything and come running but they said they would be round during
the night (i said it was unlikely that any of the cars would be moved during
the night).

Guess what?
by 8:00am this morning, no one came - they could have gone crazy with their
tickets. Instead a car (that tried to get out of the turning) ended up
getting pranged.
I called them again this morning and updated them, only to be told that it
wasn't a priority.

My issue with this is that it seems to be a law enforced when it suits -
either they do or they don't
- not when they are having a quiet morning.
