This really isn't news.

MS has supported the HD-DVD almost from the beginning. After all,
they're certainly not about to give arch-rival Sony a chunk of every
Xbox 360 sold.

And who cares who Intel supports? Until they start making DVD players,
gaming consoles, or DVD drives; it really doesn't matter which format
they support.
