RIPPING is nothing special than COPYING from DVD to Hard Drive. So if you
have slowness problem then check your system, if you have problem copying
data from DVD to hard drive then check to make sure the data is ok.

"RING MARKS", you mean "Burn Mark"? it's normal to see burn mark on home
made CD/DVD (some silver CD-R shows less burn mark). If you mean "scratch
mark" then check to make sure no dirt on the disc or the tray.
