I was wondering if there is such a thing has a hard disk drive media player.

What I want to do is transfer xvid/divx avi files from my pc to a hard disk
drive unit & then play it back through the TV

I think you can do this with an xbox somehow but don't really want to go
down that route ?

I've been looking around on the net at various electrical retail outlets but
not found anything yet.

Any help appreciated please.
