The drama in question is called "Holding On". It was simply excellent. If
you like stuff with lots of seperate storylines intermingling, and with good
plot twists and superb acting, emotional drama, you will love this. It was
shown on BBC back in 1997.

It only ever recieved one transmission, so if you blinked, you missed it.
