My Philips DVD player started oozing sticky stuff over the DVDs so I
pulled it and bought a toshiba as a stand in while I get the Philips
stripped and cleaned. Anyone know of a hack to make it multi region? I
don't have many region 1 DVDs so making multy reg copieswould be no
bother but I'd prefer not too.

Where the sticky stuff came from has me baffled. Cleans of with PCB
solvent cleaner though.
