Complete newbie here - need a bit of help.

I have a Sony DW-D22a DVD burner and CloneDVD software.

My boss asked me to make a backup copy of his CSI DVD's for him.

First try -

Copied all DVD's compressing them to 4.5 disks. They played in my computer
drive fine, they played in my Yamaha DVD player fine, they played in his
computer fine BUT they did NOT play in ANY of 3 different DVD players he has
at home.

2nd try - thought it might be the compression ( remember I'm a newbie )

Burned another copy to a DVD +R DL disc using CLoneDVD.

This one also plays in the computers but does not play in either my Yamaha
drive nor his drives.

What am I missing here? I would think if it was copy protection that I would
be unable to play it in ANY type of drive.

Any help GREATLY appreciated.
