I'd say almost certainly not as the unit uses a proprietary format for
recording the programms and and will most likely only play those also
it probably only out-puts via the USB not the other way.

Certainly if it turns out to be otherwise i will let you know.
Not something i need to do as I have a Liteon netplayer/DVD player that
I use for AVIs and the like. Plays them via the ethernet cable off the
PC or straight off a DVD with AVI Divx etc dumped on it in or out of
folders

Why not get an external drive and enclosure and get them off the main
HDD?
