I just rang Comet to see if they had a repair facility at my local store.
They said 'bring in your player and we'll send it off to get repaired'.
Now, I'm thinking, surely that's the bit I could do for myself? Is there
anyone that offers this kind of mail order repair, where you just post them
your player and say 'fix it and post it back'? My DVD recorder has got into
a strop, keeps throwing out any blank DVD I put into it, saying it can't
read them, and no amount of factory resets seem to be cheering it up.
