As for a recommendation for a book, may I suggest one in a coffee-table
large format full of photographic pictures of English scenic towns and
countryside, and on culture, traditions and customs. I think this is
suitable for I was given one as a gift nearly forty years ago, and I enjoyed
reading it. It is best to post your inquiry to the experts here. A short
stay in the discussion forums will convince you that they are a very
knowledgeable lot.
