The signal seems okay according to the SS indicator. .
I'm going to borrow another model and see if it still happens. Don't
want to shell out for a new box and find it's because we live in a dip
or summat.

Trouble is it is so irritating when it hides the subtitles on a film
I've recorded the previous night.
