It's not that complex but like anything else it depends on what you're used
to.

Digital mapping is a fairly specialist area so the concepts behind the
software are quite different to all the other run of the mill office type
stuff.

I use it everyday in work and apart from a very basic overview I've picked
the rest up as I went along.

Unless you're going to use it all the time though it's probably not worth
the learning curve.

What you're after though is an easy job so check out any firms that offer
GIS and ask around.
