Does anyone have one of these beasts that will record onto ANY type of
DVD? Mine is a GDVD306R and is fussy which brand of disc you use. The
manual admits as much which is just great.
It says recordable and rewritable DVD's can only be used "after
finalization". I know what finalization means on a PC drive but it is
not explained in the Goodmans manual nor can I see it in the menus. Do
Goodmans make DVD discs? I'm using a ragbag of DVDs (R and RW) that
were bought for my PC and there were no problems that way on the PC.
The only disk that worked first time was a DVD+RW that is completely
unbranded, heaven knows where I bought it. No point phoning Goodmans or
Argos on a Sunday so here's hoping.........
