Not yet, but you have prompted me to email Samsung yet again, including my
email from Hitachi, which insisit that the TV does support Digital audio
via the HDMI port.

I still suspect that the cable supplied with the player is naff, but I'm
trying to get them to admit that, but I do need to buy one.
