No, what I said was "since the encryption system was vulnerable to the
release of a single 'master key', it wasn't very good and was thus able
to be reverse engineered after that one key was released into the wild".

Without that key, nothing would have been "cracked".

With the new systems where having one key makes no difference, nothing
will be cracked.

Really? When has PGP been cracked? When have any of the underlying
encryption methods of PGP (IDEA, AES, Blowfish, etc.) been cracked?
When was the encryption used on the only consumer HD media (D-Theater
tapes) cracked? The answer to all of these questions is "never", and
this proves that even if you know the software algorithm being used, a
good system won't ever be completely cracked.
