My guess is it's pointless asking, but I promised a friend I would.

He bought a Bush DVD2043 from Tescos, and *then* went about looking for a
multi-region hack.
He checked www.dvdreviewer.co.uk but can't find anything for that player.

If nobody has any suggestions, I'll get him to bring it back...
