Hello,
yes, I have used google, it did not bring up anything except, that the
r-rated supposedly fogs the hentai scenes.
At amazon.com there are 3 version of the french film
"Demonlover" (2002).
A friend of mine is hot for the film, while I found it ok, but think, that
Videodrome did some of the themes much better (violence on screen for
s&m and rent-a-tv-cable).

I've not been able to buy the longest version of the film yet.
Below is the story of the 4 times (!) I bought the disc, I edited a
text send as an email to an amazon.com seller, before I give him/her
feedback.

"Today the "Demonlover unrated director's cut 2 disc Edt." arrived.
But, while it is even cheaper, regarding the version you sent, and I'll
keep it, I regret to inform you, you sent the wrong version!

There are at least 3 Versions available in the USA:
- the R-Rated Version - 115min. NTSC
- this unrated Director's Cut/2disc - 116min. NTSC
- the unrated "normal" Version supposed to be 129min.
A few weeks ago I bought the 2nd version for a friend, who also wants
the 3third version, which I hoped to get from you.
By mistake I also bought the first version used and then later for myself
a few weeks ago I also bought very cheap the German release, which is
in between in playing time (due to the differences PAL/NTSC:it's 116min.
PAL=120 min NTSC). "

I'll certainly keep the 2disc-Version for me for the extras, but it was not
as cheap as I thought, which I realizied when checking the order-
confirmation-mail. There was no bill in the package.

So before I plug down another 20 Us$ for the disc, not knowing
which I'll get (but then I'll certainly inform amazon and cancel,
if it's again the wrong version!), is the unrated "normal" version really
129 min. ? And what is the real difference to the director's cut?
How does the German version compare (german/french, no english
sound)?
And the real question, which probaly nobody can answer:
is the 129min. version worth buying, if you have the unrated
director's cut?

Maybe also, someone from UK or Germany can make me an offer
for the 1disc unrated version used (paypal and mastercard available).

BTW. the 2disc Dir. Cut is not available directly from amazon.com
anymore, it was Us$22 + p&p, the used price begins at 8 us$.
Maybe I could be persuaded to swap my 2 disc SE with someones
1disc unrated (warning: cover inlay looks mangled/used).

Email is valid, any offers via email, please.

Bye,
Ingo Lembcke
