It's true that HDCP can be applied to both DVI and HDMI, Intel provided for
both. The movie industry, however, prefers HDMI, which it designed and has
put pressure on manufacturers to include it in their products. The latest
plasma screens appear to be carrying one or two HDMI ports now.

Digital spy reports that the new Sky HD box uses an HDMI port for connection
to the screen. No mention is made of DVI.

HD-DVD players such as the Samsung HD-950 also seem to be using the HDMI
standard. If I were looking for a new plasma I wouldn't consider buying one
without an HDMI port, probably two.
