I said he was creative not that he had created.
However I do believe that if you take an idea and adapt it then yes it is
creativity, A little help from my friends sung by Joe Cocker was the same
words as the Beatles sang(and wrote) but that's where the similarity ends
and yes it is still creative. like I believe intelligence is not the
ability to pass exams and remember facts but to learn a fact that is already
known through someone else's work and adapt it or take it further. Just as
important as having an original thought IMHO. I do not think Charlie is any
better than Wonka I just liked it. Back in the 50's a film called " Gone to
earth" was made in the UK and then the same film was remade in the USA
different director just altered the script and a few other things. Really is
interesting to see both films a bit like Dominion and Exorcist the beginning
did not like either really but enjoyed the contrasts.
I found Charlie different in the feel of the movie rather than the
content the viewpoint its darker undertones, However I likes Wonka's
warmness Oh and I do love the Umpa's.
