Piracy is wrong but most people who view pirated material, or listen to
pirated music, only do so because they can get it for virtually nothing.
This is why industry figures are complete bullshit in talking about
losing so many billions to piracy because the largest percentage of
consumers of pirated materiel won't buy legitimate stock.

Pirates have created a demand that didn't exist before they came along.

And no they won't ever lower prices which explains why people buy
foreign releases or wait for the Play247 sale.

Also if media conglomerates instead of litigating against new technologies
actually embraced them they wouldn't be in the shit they claim they are in.
