It's all too changeable at the moment. I can't see any new format making
inroads into the domestic market for another 10 years, yes that's right I
firmly believe we'll still all be using DVD in 10 years time and looking
back at all the costly failed attempts to replace it. The next medium will
need to offer the same leap in functionality that DVD did over VHS, not just
storage space, so will probly be something solid-state. No moving parts in
the player and the material on cartidges or cards.
