Go for the cheap one. Digital is digital and gold connectors will
make no difference at all. In fact whether they make any difference
even to analogue is debatable. I spent loads on fibre-optic leads for
optical digital sound before someone pointed out that coax wire was
just as good for carrying simple 0s and 1s.

Never buy leads etc from the likes of Comet, it's one way they bump up
their profit margins. Look at PC World who charge £15 for a USB cable
any online supplier would sell for £1.99.
