Fear takes Flight

Red Eye is available to own and rent on DVD from 30th January 2006 courtesy

A battle of wills between an innocent woman who just wants to get home and
the man who is holding her father's life in her hands sets the scene for the
intense and exciting thriller Red Eye which is out to own and rent on DVD
from 30th January, courtesy of Universal Pictures UK.

Director Wes Craven ( Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street) enters the thriller
arena with Red Eye an intelligent and emotive drama that sees sterling
performances from stars Rachel McAdams ( Wedding Crashers, The Notebook) and
Cillian Murphy ( Batman Begins, 28 Days Later).

Red Eye tells the story of young hotel manager Lisa Reinstert (McAdams) who
after attending the funeral of her grandmother is on her way back to Miami.
In order to make it in time to work the next day she takes the Red Eye
despite her hate for flying. After meeting the charming Jackson Rippner
(Murphy) while waiting in line Lisa is happy to be distracted from her fear
and continues their flirtation over drinks while waiting for their delayed
flight. Little did she know that the terror that awaits her on the flight to
Miami has nothing to do with a fear of flying.
