I recently installed a Pre-N router between my cable modem and PC to give me
a hardware firewall and some wireless connectivity for the future

Every so often I get that annoying "cable unplugged" message from XP and the
LAN light on the router goes out - there is nothing wrong with the wiring.
Switching everything off and back on resolves the problem for a while and
taking the router out of the equation cures it totally so something is going
on with the Belkin kit

Anyone have any ideas or could point me to someone who knows about these
things. Belkin's website is a dead loss
