Fair point, and if they had come right back to me and said that, then
fine, I'd say, well I only paid 59 for the thing, I'll go buy one. But
for them to send me an email saying one will be sent then not sending
anything and not telling me they had changed their minds....that is just
totally unprofessional!

To update folks, I sent them an email making the following points...

1. Their service was crap because of the above described screw up

2. I wanted them to arrange for me to return the printer for a full
refund, as I was sick of all this messing.

3. They never even sent me a mains plug converter...

And what did they reply with????

"We apologise for the inconvenience. Most of our equipment is
Europeanand electrical plugs are generally 2pin continental plugs.
The voltage is the same,and our goods are the same spec as you'dget in
the UK,only the plug is different (this is stated in the
termsandconditions).
Please use the included converter, which converts the 2 pin plug into a
3 pin. If this converter plug was missing, we can ship you another one,
orpossibly refund a flat fee of �3 to your card so as to allow you
topurchase one locally., so you can get up an running so to speak
straitaway.

Please advise which would be preferable for you.
Thank you in advance for your comprehension."

So basically they totally ignored points 1 and 2, and just popped off an
automated email concerning the piffling point 3, which I wished I hadn't
brought up, as it gave them an excuse to piss me of and drag it out for
another 2 days, while I fill in the pointless form on their site, and
then wait for over 24 hours for them to get back to me!

Needless to say, I am now going to make it my life's work to torture
them with nasty emails every day...
