It if performs a better burn, then surely that potentially makes it
more compatible? I never burn at full speed - and usually at either 2
or 4 times. When I have tested at faster speeds, the tendency to
stutter near the end rasies its head! ;-(

Yes, Id go along with that. I bought 100 1x traxdata discs (when they
were £1.25 each) and havent really touched them since I found cheaper
discs. They were amongst the best I used though.

Im down to only 25 8x discs now - and will be sampling SVP Taiyo TDK
when I order shortly. Having said that, the current Datawrite Fuji 8x
I have have been good. I went off Ritek after 2 different poor
batches. And thats the problem - why can a good G03/4/5 suddenly be a
bad disc in another batch? Because quality control standards have
slipped would be my guess.
