Well obviously not you but how about someone who has to spend a lot of time
travelling? Or someone like me who sometimes has to get somewhere miles from
anywhere and sit and wait, sometimes for days, to do my work.
Yes I do go through a lot of books as well but the iPod is a useful adjunct.
