hi group. i have about 90 hrs of HDV 1080i 24p full size DV that needs to
be NLE'd and have to chose a platform and software. i hear all kinds of
plus's and minus's with both avid express pro and final cut pro. then, more
recently i've heard a lot of positive hype about liquid edition and HDV.
the hype say's that LE is more capable to read in, convert, live edit,
software render, and then export/write out the result with much less
complications and problems than both avid and final cut pro. this project
will be a feature length film that will ultimately be convernted to super 35
for distribution and thus the integrity of the 24p output is necessary to
maintain that 35mm feel and look in the final analysis.

would love to hear some folks who have experience with each of these
products offer their input as to what they think is best and why?

thanks in advance and will read all comments and respond.
