The datarate to the video-card will jump up tremendously though. Instead of
a wussy 720x540/576, the quadruple needs to be put through. One channel,
ok, but two (PIP), and your system will suffer. I could just play back one
layer of HD on a dual G5, and there was not enough grunt with that specific
system, to output a second layer,
