My humble (by today's standards) 1GHz Athlon with 512MB RAM with fast HDDs
also takes hours (~ 5) when burning a 40 minute DVD. I now use Ulead
VideoStudio 9. The time taken does appear to have reduced since I upgraded
from VS8 & earlier, but I couldn't be certain, as the amount of rendering
varies enormously from one DVD to another.
