Of course our DS is not just an editor but does compositing as well so as an
application it is memory hungry.

But our tests on HDV editing also lead us to believe that there will be
gains in using X64 platforms.
And most edit systems now use rendering and the performance of this will
improve with an X64 platform I'm sure.
