would we need this for broadcast quality work or is this something specific
to cinema/movie production? and if the latter what would that mean to one
doing that?

would we need this for broadcast or is this the NTSC issue and PAL issue?
or a 720i/24p issue?

by means of a cord? we're looking at tripod dolly's that have remote
control handles, does this mean that the FX1 would not be operative on them?

in SD (that's standard broadcast like definition?) with the FX1 would that
mean we would not be able to record in 4:3? would that mean 16:9 only in
SD?

this could be a plus so that we wouldn't have to convert our speedlock/xlr
cable to mini jack :o)

well from what i can see the FX1 with battery, power cord, and cables that
come with it, can be had for about $2,600 US and the Z1U (comparably
equipped) for about $3,600 US. anyone know where their cheaper than that?
