Absolutely John. The Blog and podcasts are just the beginnings of real
public broadcasting. As our bandwidth increases we, the video crowd, have
no excuses. Both the blog and the podcast show the future of broadcasting.
Gone will be the schedules and specialised content on demand will reign
supreme. While I flinch at lining Murdox coffers Sky+ has revolutionised
how I watch TV. While the nation sits and watches imported American trash I
can sit down and watch a doc by Adam Curtis or 3 weeks last Wenesday's
Newsnight. Take the Sky+ idea forward, remove the sat feed and replace it
with 40 meg broadband and allow the user to generate their own schedule by
subscribing to video RSS feeds like we do for podcasts and blogs currently.
I think you'll agree its an exciting future... It'll be here before you can
say stop the multinationals making it proprietry technology....

Who knows I might be tuning into movingvision.tv.rss sometime!

I'd really like to know how the A1 goes. I think either the Z1 or the A1 is
my next camera.

Are the docs you are shooting with your Z1s et al going to be broadcast in
the UK?
