Thanks guys.

I *did* find out (from Josh the technician that repairs lenses for Canon in
Chicago) that this particular lens *does* have a trim-pot inside to change
the settings.

They are marked OE (open exposure) and CE (close exposure) and adjustments
can be easily made. His said you couldn't really hurt anything and I could
adjust it myself just using a waveform and set it the way I want it.

I haven't tried it yet but will this weekend.
