It's not as easy as you think with only coathangers and
churchkeys to workl with.
1. You can't use AVI or MPEG.... they're too slow (<12 fps)
2. You can't show the film on your computer (too slow)
unless you have direct video drive to the monitor which
needs special software and graphics card.
3. SO the only way to do it is edit a VHS video tape on a
computer, then rerecord it on the VHS, and then play it back
on a VCR .... I think rerecording the edited tape from the
computer is the problem (special software, special VCR,
blah, blah,, blah...)
Any suggestions... other than going to a video production lab
and just asking them flat out to make the tape for me... which surely
would be a snap for them... since only a 10 second tape is needed
only 300 frames... and that can be the same 30 frame sequence
repeated 10 times over. Hence.... it's only a 30 frame video
on VHS...doesn't sound too difficult for someone in the business?
