Hmm, Doc.
I know exactly what you are describing now, I don't know what it's called or
what causes it. I just know what it looks like cause a dvd a friend made me
was like that exactly.
It looked like a silent movie every now and then, not all the time. And a
flicker like frames were missing is the best way to describe it. I
attributed it to a bad mpeg encoder or possibly a problem with his computer
(maybe skipped frames or something), i didn't give it much thought till now.
Try the higher bit rate if possible, not sure where the setting are, it
might also be on automatic?
But maybe using a different encoder altogether, does LE6 let you chose which
codec to use? Some people have more than a few on their systems and it can
confuse the NLE, but some let you chose which to use in their settings
options. It's an idea, i hope it leads to something to try and maybe a
solution.
Good Luck,
AnthonyR
