thanks AnthonyR. i tried turning the bit rate up to the highest setting and
it's still there, although slightly reduced. codec's hmmmmm. wonder how to
check that and/or get some other codec's in. im sure it's something in the
software and not the puter or the dv footage because last night i hooked the
cam up to the tv for direct read and it looked great. now if i can just
figure this out i can get some cameras :o) also, i've made 8 DVD's thus far
all with different settings and thus far all with the same result.
