Stay well clear of The canon gm2 it has a very bad drive unit problem
that surfaces on a lot of units around 14-20 months and costs hundreds
to fix, canons answer is to carry on making it regardless and deny it
has a problem.
The Gm1 is hopeless in low light, with it's "unusual" minimum shutter
of 50 it is only useable in strong light and well out of it's depth
indoors under tungsten light
I would recomend a good second hand sony like a pd150 or pd170, they
are excellent in low light and lets face it, most situations are bad
light and they are well built and sturdy, unfortunatly they cost a
little more than some others, but you only get what you pay for.
