I agree with the comments about B&H. I just bought Final Cut Studio and
a bunch of related stuff from them. My experiences on the phone with
them, I live in Anchorage, Ak, have always been good. However, I went
to NYC this past month and thought I'd get FCP Studio while I was there.
I thought I might save a few bucks buying it at the store and saving
shipping. The NY tax was $110+ something where the shipping would be
$74.00 or something like that. Anchorage doesn't have sales tax.
I came back home and ordered over the phone.
The folks at the store were a lot less friendly than on the phone also.
Maybe it is the NY thing. I felt like I was imposing on them.
At any rate I can't fault them for anything really. They seem to be a
good resource.
Full Compass is a great choice also. They have some things B&H don't.
